Dingy room never cleaned properly, same towels for 5 days had to ask for them to be changed . Bathroom basin not cleaned properly had to remove all my toiletries before it was done, the first room I was given had a dreadful smell of damp so had to change it, the new room is very dingy and poorly furnished, with rickety wooden stairs to sleeping area , all of this bears no resemblance to the on line rooms on the website. The price is around €1800 for the week all inc . Which does not include water in the room, that has to be purchased from the on site shop .

Lovely hotel with great views. We went half board and were very pleased with the food and service. Rooms were very clean and lovely apart from small shower. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed (April). Agios Nikolos was a beautiful town to potter around. We hired a car and would recommend day trips to: Spinalonga Island, Plaka, Sitia, Richtis Gorge, Cretan Olive Oil Farm Agios, Vassilakis Estate Free Olive tour, Krista and Ancient City of Lato.

Highly impressed with everything. Food outstanding beautifully fresh every meal. Facilities incredible for what ever you desire. Spa treatments so professional and relaxing with a lovely girl EVI to help along the way. Bed rooms all kitted out with the essentials, always kept immaculate. All inclusive drinks were the best I have ever had the options for cocktails,straights and beers all exceptional. Staff all couldn’t do enough with what ever you desire, I brought my 8 month old and they are the friendliest people you could possibly meet. Views are spectacular. Highly recommend

Booked AI plus only to find this has limitations. To go to premium is an extra £330/wk. This gives a better choice although there are also limitations. The hotel ide say isn't really good for disabled or unsteady on feet. Very few rails on steps and there are alot between the 3 pools. Also the hotel seems to have been built up over the years. Basically navigating around the hotel can be a nitemare at first. Reception staff are not very helpful and can be misleading at times. The private beach isn't free, it's 15 euros for 2. Food is of an ok standard and it can be organised chaos at mealtimes. Good range of food but dishes can be somewhat bland. Complements to pastry chef. Choice is good and tasty. This hotel taking into account it's 4star plus I would say for the cost there is better out there. Bar staff are friendly as are restaurant staff. An excellent maitradee. Snacks during day are a joke unless your AI premium and as previously stated limited choice. All in all I would say 3star plus, max 4 star. This is a true review as polite and appropriate can be said.

We Stayed from the 31st August for 14 nights. All in all we had a wonderful time. We were allocated room 800 which has magnificent views of the bay and Marina which was excellent We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful especially Veronika Guest Relations who went out of her way to make sure we had a good time . We thoroughly recommend her for booking your excursions whilst there We stayed half board which suited us as we like to eat out occasionally . Buffet food was good and you have the opportunity to change Dinner for Lunch if you want to dine out in the evening Cretan night is a great evening and well worth going Two beaches locally one sandy and the other pebbles. Both walking distance. We preferred the sandy one We cannot stress how wonderful the views are from the main areas . OK it is situated on a hill so a lot of steps but it is worth it to get the views. Book a sea view room and you won’t be disappointed. We have already booked for next September but this time going for a one bedroom suite with pool and frontal sea view

We had a lovely holiday at The Miramar Resort and Spa hotel with friends. The views and staff were amazing and a beautiful sandy beach was within a sort walking distance. Reception and dining room and bar staff were excellent. On the down side the Jet2 description of the hotel was rather lacking regarding the steep inclines and lack of hand rails by the steep twisting steps, lack of handrails anywhere in fact. In addition, there was no daytime entertainment and evening entertainment was awful, only an electric piano player which was far too loud for the small area, therefore making conversation difficult. The international branded drinks was very limited especially as we had upgraded to All inclusive plus. Only a very limited choice of drinks available on our upgraded package.
